Bear World and Time at the Tanners'

Between my house and Rexburg there is a place called Bear World.  It has been there for over 10 years and I have never venture through the gate.  Until now!  Grandpa Terry and Grandma Bonnie took us while we were home.  It was quite an adventure.
Elk.  Some hunters in my car had twitching trigger fingers.
 Albino Elk
Wolf sleeping by the side of the road.
Grizzly Bear pacing the fence.  He really wanted out!
 Bear cubs in the water.

 Petting zoo.
There were other animals in the petting zoo, like deer, goats, and chickens, but Katelyn decided to befriend this bad boy!  He was sure prickly.
Doesn't he look happy to be with her?
 Carter liked him too.
And then there were the rides at bear world.  The kids loved them.   Katelyn even screamed "weeeeee."
Devin and I each took a turn riding with Katelyn on the roller-coaster.  It was so fun to hear her giggle and scream on the one circle coaster.  People probably thought Devin and I had never ridden a roller-coaster.  We were smile and laughing like it was the best ride of our lives.
Here is another new baby that we got to meet for the first time this trip.  Mckoy Nyle Tanner.  He is such a cutie.
After Bear World, we headed over to Nyle and Cheryl's ranch.  We had such a fun barbecue.  It was a perfect day, beginning to end!
Grandpa Tanner taking Katelyn for a quick ride. (Quick because the bike got a flat tire.  Good thing they could hop on the four-wheeler for a while.)   She drew a picture of him while we were home.  When she was decribing it to him she pointed to the top of his head and said, "That's your hair, but just a little bit of hair!"  Kids say the funniest things!
Looking through a kaleidoscope.  It is hard to close one eye.
Reading stories with Grandma Bonnie.  She is so sweet to our girls.  Besides them, she has only grandsons.
Terry and Bonnie really made our time at home memorable for us and the girls.  Now that we are home, Katelyn talks about looking at the stars with Grandma Bonnie on the tramp and how much she wants to do it again.  We appreciate all that they did for us while we were with them. Love you guys!
