We have been having a lot of fun lately. The weather has been awesome. Yesterday it was 78 degrees. So we are taking advantage of the Indian summer before the cold sets in.

Katelyn tried on her new coat. Then she laid down on Elyse, but Elyse didn't care. They both just laid there.

But she cleaned up nicely.
We went for a walk at Prairie Oaks Metro Park. The girls had a ton of fun. There were a bunch of boulders to climb on.

Half way on our walk, we crossed a little creek. The girls found sticks and splashed them in the water for about 15 minutes. They'd have stayed there all night.
Elyse was so sad leaving the bridge. She was hitting Devin on the head. That is why he is ducking and grimacing.
But he did as the primary song suggests- he quickly turned her frown upside down. It distracted her enough that we were able to enjoy the rest of our walk.
Fall is really the best time of year in Ohio. We love it. Especially after a hot summer like this last one. We love to open our windows at night and turn off the air conditioning. And the girls love all the time we spend outside.
Yes, I'd have to agree that Fall is amazing in Ohio! We here in Logan have apparently skipped most of fall as we just had our first snowfall yesterday. Crazy. So glad it's finally cooling down out there for you guys.
