Update

Things have been going well for us. Even though Devin school schedule has been light, we feel like this summer has been busy and has flown by. We are savoring the last of our summer and looking forward to our trip home to visit family!

Devin was putting Elyse down for a nap the other day and she put him down for a nap too!

She sure is a cute little thing!

Katelyn got some princess dresses from my mom for her birthday. She thinks they are pretty cool, especially with her high heels!
She has been riding the trike around the house. She can't pedal, but she loves just pushing it with her feet. My two girls! (Katelyn's shirt is inside out and backwards. She has learn how to take her shirt off and usually puts it back on a little crazy.) Katelyn is pretty good at cheesing it up for the camera! And speaking of a cheesy grin, check out this sweetheart!

Life is great. I have really enjoyed getting to stay home with the girls. Devin was released as the nursery leader and put in as a counselor in the young men's and scout master. He will be busy this fall with mutual and camp outs and school, but he is really looking forward to it. Katelyn is talking our ears off all day long. She is full of bologna. She has started saying "Katelyn, why'd ya do that?" when she does something wrong. She says "Oh no, I makin' a mess!" When she talks on the pretend phone, she says, "Hi, uhuh, uhuh. Okay. Talk to you later. Bye!" She sings all day long and carries a tune very well. She also is a very good dancer. Elyse is a wonderful baby. She has just started smiling and sleeping through the night. We don't know what we did without her.
