Katelyn's Two!

We had such a fun birthday! A year made such a big difference in how excited Katelyn was about her birthday. And we actually did a pretty good job of taking pictures, which isn't typical of us.

The night before her birthday, Katelyn fell and hit her face. She cut her gums and scraped her face. It was bloody and painful, but she hopped right up after. She was kind of swollen. Way to go Katelyn. She gave herself "birthday spankings!"Devin had already left for school when Katelyn woke up. I told Katelyn she couldn't open her presents until daddy got home. She sat and stared at them. I hid them to make the day go faster for her. I will hide them from the beginning next year. She had a lot of fun unwrapping her presents this year. Our wrapping paper is really think, so we had to start some of them for her, but she did a pretty good job. This is a snap doll from Alli's family. She love it!

Daddy and Elyse hanging out while Katelyn napped. Katelyn helped me make her cupcakes the night before her birthday. She talked about them all day long and asked for one. I told her she had to wait for her friends to come over. She would way "Kids come. Cupcakes!"

Daddy was helping Katelyn into he jammies and her head got stuck. Daddy does some pretty silly stuff. That is why we love him!
