Random Pictures

Elyse is pretty cute. She has really been a momma's girl the past few weeks between having a cold and getting teeth. I am sad that she has been sad, but at least I am her favorite!
I fell down the stairs carrying Elyse at the end of February. She was all right, but I ended up with a few battle wounds. I dragged my right leg down 12 stairs. Here is how it looks.
Bruising on my foot.
Carpet burn and bruising on my leg. It is still a little swollen and numb.
Bruising on my knee. I was pretty sore.
Miss Big Blue Eyes
Katelyn is so funny. She has recently been very observant of people's feelings. She says she wants to go home to Idaho to make Grammy happy. She goes in the potty to make Daddy happy. When she has an accident, that makes Belle so sad (Belle is on her Pull-ups).
Our girls like each other a lot. Elyse will follow Katelyn around all day long. When Elyse wakes up from a nap, Katelyn yells, "Elyse! You are awake. How did you sleep?"
I've tried to keep Katelyn from grabbing Elyse's neck. She thinks she has to to hug her. We'll keep working on it.
Big kisses for little sister.
Katelyn took this picture of Elyse and I. I look so TALL to Katelyn.
Ready for church on Sunday morning.
There is that neck hold again. Sorry Elyse.
Katelyn is at a fun stage right now. She talks like a big girl and is starting to tie things together in her mind. Yesterday we went on a walk and Devin said, "turn right Katelyn." She started singing, "Choose the right way, and be happy."
Cute braids.
Elyse is getting so big. She crawls on her hands and knees, pulls herself up to things, claps her hands, plays peek-a-boo, waves and blows kisses.
She can say "hi," "mama" (when she is crying) and "dada."
At her 9 month appointment, she weighed 19 lbs 12 oz (70th percentile) and was 29 inches long (95th percentile). She eats everything we eat plus her bottles and baby food. She is such a little sweetheart.
She has seven teeth now. She used to give sweet kisses on my cheeks. Now she bites. That is not as fun, but I love her toothy smiles!
